Tech and marketing go hand-in-hand, so it’s no wonder that Marketing Summit is a standalone conference within this year’s Web Summit. Today, we’re announcing 12 more speakers, on top of an already stellar lineup.

We’ll be welcoming leaders from a number of influential companies, from media powerhouses to not-for-profit organisations. Let’s take a closer look…

Benedict is a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, where he blogs about what is going on in the tech industry and predicts what is to come. He’s also a contributor on Forbes where he writes about mobile tech.

Jim Lanzone – CEO – CBS Interactive

Jim is the CEO of the media giant CBS Interactive, the umbrella group controlling CBS.com and lastfm.com, among others. He’s a man in demand, with Twitter reportedly approaching him to fill the CEO position that’s going. Plus, he knows a thing or two about startups. He founded Clicker, a guide for online TV and video, in 2009. It went on to gain $19 million in funding and was later acquired by CBS Interactive.

Yancey Strickler – CEO and Co-founder – Kickstarter

Since its 2009 launch, over 9 million people have backed projects resulting in a total of $2 billion pledged. Yancey has been there through it all. He’s also a keen writer, and was the Editor-in-Chief for eMusic for 4 years.

David Marcus – VP of Messaging Products – Facebook

When accepting the job as the Vice President of Messaging Products, David was eager to get his “hands dirty again attempting to build something new and meaningful at scale”.
