Mike Schroepfer – CTO – Facebook

Mike Schroepfer is the CTO at Facebook. He’s responsible for harnessing the engineering organisation’s culture of speed, creativity and exploration to build products, services and infrastructure that support the company’s users, developers and partners around the world. Before coming to Facebook, Mike was the VP of Engineering at Mozilla Corporation, where he led the global, collaborative, open and participatory product development process behind Mozilla’s popular software, such as the Firefox browser.


Eugene Kaspersky – Chairman & CEO – Kaspersky Lab

The last quarter of a century Eugene’s life has been dedicated to computer security, particularly the fight against malware in all its forms. He is one of the most prominent and authoritative person on the security industry with 22+ years experience in fighting malware. He started his career in 1989 by developing his first anti-virus software. In 1997 together with a group of peers founded Kaspersky Lab. In 12 years he made the company one of the biggest players in the market.


Brogan BamBrogan – CEO, CTO & Co-founder

Prior to Hyperloop, Brogan was an early team member at SpaceX where he saw firsthand the power of a truly bold vision. He was part of a team that put rockets into orbit, delivered goods to and from the International Space Station, and is on its way to radically advancing human spaceflight. As Sr. Staff Engineer of Propulsion he played a critical role in some of the most difficult technical challenges faced by the company. Brogan had primary design responsibility for Kestrel, the upper stage engine of the Falcon 1 rocket. He led the early design of the Dragon spacecraft. At Hyperloop, he oversees the development of tech and hardware to make Hyperloop a reality.


Julie Wainwright – CEO & Founder & The RealReal.com

The RealReal.com is the world’s premier online luxury resale store. Julie is recognised as a strong CEO with deep experience in building consumer technology companies domestically and internationally. This lady is transforming the luxury resale marketplace and buying habits of luxury shoppers. Julie was an e-commerce pioneer as CEO of Reel.com in 1997 and Pets.com in 1999. In 2014 she was named one of Tech Crunches “40 Over 40” Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and a couple of years back she was voted one of the Most Admired CEOs in the SF Bay Area. 


Jose Ferreira – Founder & CEO – Knewton

Jose founded the world’s leading adaptive learning company, Knewton. Before this he was an executive at Kaplan where he designed their first learning systems that generated a unique study plan for each student. He was also a strategist for John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign. Jose spent 16 years thinking about and designing Knewton before he launched the company in 2008.
